    Description

    Vintage A.M. Bowles Duck Call. The call is one of the very few early Bowles calls with the extra long tone board. Bowles made the call for a friend of his, Garnett Eisele, a federal judge that was nominated in 1970 by President Richard Nixon. Eisele passed away in 2017 at the age of 93. Bowles carved his name into the side of the barrel. In the picture, the call looks like it has a crack in it but it is a wood knot. I assume Bowles left it in the barrel for decorative purposes. Very nice early piece with great provenance.
