Due to the New E-maxx #3905 being put to the market, there is a slight confusion on what shafts to use for the Old E-maxx, Wide-Maxx, and New E-maxx. Above is a picture indicating what slider shaft you should pick to replace the original plastic shaft. The T-maxx is pretty straight forward as Traxxas name their truck according to the engine model.
Please make sure you know what shaft you are getting for your truck. We are not responsible if you purchased the wrong one.
