5 mini miniature constant current sources 4-24V 20mA for LEDs
Resistances were yesterday!
This "intelligent resistor", hardly larger than a standard resistor, always supplies your LEDs with the right current.
The electronics in the KSQ1 limit the current to a maximum of 20mA regardless of the supply voltage. Your LED always lights up constantly in a voltage range between 4V and 24V DC.
You should only have one
AC transformer
(as is usually the case in model railroading), then you can simply connect a bridge rectifier between the transformer and the constant current sources. The bridge rectifier converts the alternating current into direct current. If required, you can also find these in my range.
Depending on the LED type and input voltage, up to 11 LEDs can be connected in series.
Examples:
- 11 LEDs each with 2V at 24V input voltage
- 7 pieces of LEDs with 3.2V each at 24V input voltage
- 7 LEDs each with 2V at 16V input voltage
- 4 pieces of LEDs with 3.2V each at 16V input voltage
- 5 pieces of LEDs each with 2V at 12V input voltage
etc.
A parallel connection is also possible, in which case the current is divided between the LEDs.
The KSQ1 is installed like a series resistor, for this two generous connection pads are available on the left and right.
Technical specifications
Set current approx. - 20mA (tolerance +/- 20%)
Operating voltage - 4V to 24V DC / direct voltage
Dimensions LxWxH approx. - 10mm x 4.5mm x 2.1mm
