This is a T-Ring made specifically for the Pentax cameras. Meade T-Mounts (T-Rings) for 35 mm cameras are the device used to attach a camera body to a T-Adapter. The T-Adapter is the device used for prime-focus photography through all Meade ETX Telescopes and LX-Series models. Thread the T-Adapter on to the rear cell of the telescope, followed by a Meade T-Mount for your 35 mm camera (attached to the camera), and the camera body is thereby rigidly coupled to the telescope.
