    BIRD IN THE HAND SALE - END OF SEASON SAVINGS!
    This auction is for a custom ceramic over glass call made by award winning call maker Wendell Rye of Lights Out custom calls.  This call is made of American chestnut salvaged from a mission house between Ashville and Boone, North Carolina.  A foundation stone of the building was dated 1843.  This wood gives the call a more open tone.  The purrs and clucks are very nice.  The cuts produce a crisp pop.  The yelps break from a medium-high first note into a medium pitched second note with good rasp.  This call prefers a light touch.   Start price is less than website price.
    Condition this 3 1/2" surface with an alcohol wipe.
