This is a great modern style jock with a cotton/spandex blend and ventilated pouch. The fabric is very soft yet stretchy and the waistband and leg straps are soft but strong and supportive.  It works great with or without the cup.
And if you appreciate the aesthetics, this is one of the sleekest looking jocks ever designed. The black and gold colors are great for feeling aggressive and psyched out for physical activity. I'm going to get the smaller size because I really like this for MMA.
I wore the jock twice before losing weight.  It was already a bit loose medium so once I lost weight it was too big.  Never used the cup so that's brand new.  Slight signs of use on front of waistband (please see pictures).
