1968 Hess Truck Battery Cover Feet Set

This listing is only for the feet with short posts that go on the battery cover of the 1968 Hess truck.  Originals are
very hard to find so I had a local plastic company make them.  They are made with white plastic that I then painted with a plastic compatible paint to match the color of most 68 covers.  Hess made these covers in
various shades of green for this year but most are a dark green. Some came with a pin hole on the bottom of each foot and others did not.  My repros have the pin hole.   You will need to glue these to the upper legs of the cover with a good plastic glue.  I use Gorilla instant glue.  The picture of the cover was taken after I put a pair of these replacements on.  The cover itself is original and the feet are the reproductions.
