I am pleased to offer a stunning vintage bone china cup and saucer set made by Aynsley, England
Large dark pink cabbage roses with green leaves
on a dramatic black background
From my reference material the mark used indicates production from 1939 due to the positioning of the words BONE CHINA  and the use of ENGLAND without the "MADE IN"
This set likely most dates from the 1940s
The quality of this set is very obvious
Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, staining, other damage or restoration on either cup or saucer; both pass the bone china ping test
No wear to the floral transfer noted
The gold trim is 99.99% intact
There are a few tiny surface scuffs to the black surfaces common with pieces with dark colors
Marked with older Aynsley crown mark in dark green with pattern number C920 handpainted in black as shown in photo
Please ignore all white spots on all photos caused by camera flash
This lovely set would make a beautiful addition to your collection or a perfect gift
