A new replacement 4 piece lower unit gear set for some (but not all)
1987-2012 Johnson and Evinrude 90-140 HP V4 outboards. You must have the "Bigfoot" 12:27 ratio large case lower unit for this gear set to work.
Part numbers stamped on OE gears:

Many of the original gears, clutch dogs, and shafts will have part numbers stamped on them. Often times the numbers stamped on your original Forward Gear and Pinion, and sometimes Reverse Gear and Clutch Dog, are not relevant because these parts were sold in multiple piece sets using a different part number. All the OE part numbers we reference below are not necessarily stamped on your original parts. Please contact us if you need assistance.

This lower unit is a V6 style lower unit with a special 12:27 ratio gear set
. This gear set will not fit if you have the standard V4 lower unit, that has a 13:26 ratio and a different case, that would be our GP-5120-4 gear set also available for sale on eBay.
